We are excited to announce a new chapter for the Cody & James CPAs team! On October 16th we will be joining Ascend LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, a partnership of small to mid-sized accounting firms across Canada.
Our entire team will be moving to Ascend’s Peterborough office at 2015 Fisher Drive, 2nd floor. Our phones and emails will all be forwarded from the Cody & James contact information, but over the next year please do update your records to reflect the new phone number of 705-243-5671 and new email addresses that end in @ascendllp.com.
Ascend LLP has locations in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Its founding partners are also members of Porter Hétu International which is why we know this is the right fit for us and for you.
As part of this growing brand we will have the ability to collaborate with CPAs with different specializations and expand the scope of our services to you. In the global world we live in now, accounting and tax are constantly changing and we want to ensure our valued clients will continue to receive the same quality of service we have striven to provide.
Our office on Milroy Drive will be closed as of October 13th but the white drop box will remain out front for a month and will be checked regularly.
Don’t worry, we’re still going to be here for you! Brenda will be at the front counter to welcome you; Gwyneth and Suzanne will continue as partners; Hazel and Kelly will manage our corporate year-end clients while Bao, Bev, Patrick, Suzanne H, Olha and Lisa take care of all the business clients’ accounting needs. Also, rest assured that all our authorizations, files, and knowledge of your business and/or personal tax will come with us.
We will soon be having a giant Open House to welcome you all to our new office space on Fisher Drive. Watch for the announcement with more details!
